Buffalo Turkey Sloppy Joes

I originally thought that this would serve 4 but I think there was plenty for 6 buns. I didn't provide the nutritional value for the bread because there are so many different options you could use.

If you don't like it as spicy just tone down the hot sauce. You can always add more too if you want!

Ingredients:

cooking spray
1 lb. ground turkey, 93/7
1 c. carrots, diced
1 c. celery, diced
1 c. onion, diced
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
1 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
2-4 Tbsp. Frank's hot sauce (depending on how spicy you like it)
1/4 c. crushed tomatoes in puree, no salt added
1 tsp. black pepper
1/4 tsp. kosher salt

6 buns
optional toppings

Directions:

1. Heat a large skillet on medium-high. Spray with cooking spray. Add celery, onions, and carrots. Saute for 7 minutes. Add turkey and brown for 7-8 minutes or until it is fully cooked.

2. Add the rest of the ingredients and simmer for 5 minutes.

3. Set oven to broil. Split buns and toast in the oven for about 1 minute on each side. Be careful not to burn them.
